In the galactic year 3002 twenty-three of earth’s newly formed Voyager starships went on a diplomatic mission to the surrounding regions of the Milky Way galaxy. According to the mission each starship was supposed to depart to its defined sector of the galaxy, find extraterrestrial life, and if possible ask for new technology to solve problems with earth’s depleting resources. This was a desperate attempt to save earth from running out of fuel. But there was one problem, the Voyagers did not return. Because the Voyagers did not have sufficient communication with earth they were forgotten. Earth started to run out of resources, and as a result the humans became restless. More and more of the earth’s natural resources were depleting, which made people more anxious. Scientists and engineers became nervous as no alternative could be found for harvesting energy. A year before the earth was due to completely run out of resources, a scientist found out a connection between two prevailing laws that could power the entirety of earth for what seemed like an eternity. His law took only one day to publish without question or examination. It proved to be one hundred percent effective, only after undergoing a few complex tests that lasted six months. Civilians on earth were worried again because there were only six more months until earth was sapped completely of its energy. They only had enough time to design and build one power plant with all the scientists, engineers, and builders in the world. It seemed as though every person on earth was working around the clock, watching his or her hundred inch realistic 3d plasma T.V. screens. The total money put in world wide to this plant was equivalent to about a billion trillion dollars in the year 2000. By the end of the year the new power plant program was able to design and build three power plants even though they only needed about a billionth of one of them. It was said that the famous scientist that saved the earth found a link between the manipulation of time and fusion, or found a way to harvest energy from the future, but the matter was so top secret not even the top admiral of the world knew how it worked. But the reason for the disappearance of the Voyagers was forgotten, at least by human minds. And there was peace on earth for another hundred years. Another hundred years passed, and the earth was completely covered in civilian cities, not one square inch of ground was left unoccupied. The earth now turned into a monster waiting to explode because of the need for expansion. Scientists found ways to dig into earth’s surface for room, but the earth was still running out of space. The monster just exploded. The United States space program NASA, and Asia and Europe’s space program SETIAE (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence And Expansion) began the first world wide program to build starships in the earth’s orbit. Multiple new technologies were developed for terraforming, genetics, space travel, robotics, chemistry, mass production, time travel, nanotechnology, and countless new ideas that seemed crazy. Earth was ready to expand its borders, peacefully, so it seemed. Little did they know of the competition that existed, waiting for them, the lost Voyagers .....
